OPPO has confirmed the India launch date for its F35 5G series, building on the legacy of the F series which began with the OPPO F1. The company says the new line will focus on group selfies and improved camera features.

The OPPO F35 5G series is scheduled to arrive in India on October 5, 2026. OPPO is emphasizing that the series will go beyond simply improving selfie quality, aiming to capture more people in each shot. According to the company, the F35 5G will be positioned as the ‘Group Selfie Expert’ in the Indian market.
Key Camera Features
The OPPO F35 5G will feature a 50MP ultra-wide-angle natural selfie camera with a 100° field of view (FOV). It will also incorporate NaturalTone 2.0 technology, designed to deliver more realistic skin tones in selfies. The front camera will also be capable of recording video in 4K resolution, a feature OPPO highlights as beneficial for content creators.
Competitive Landscape
The launch comes as OPPO prepares to compete with Vivo in the Indian market. Vivo is planning to launch the Vivo V80 5G in India on October 6, 2026, alongside other devices including the Vivo S2 FE and Vivo X Fold 6 5G. According to TelecomTalk, the Vivo X Fold 6 5G was recently tipped for release in the country.
OPPO’s F series has already garnered a significant user base, with 30 million users globally, and the company views India as a key market for driving sales and increasing its market share.
