OnePlus is focusing on the Indian market with a new entry-level smartphone, the N6 Lite, and has begun revealing details about its design and available colors. This device will be the third in the N series lineup for India, joining the OnePlus N6 and the more affordable OnePlus N6x.
Design Details
The OnePlus N6 Lite will feature a flat frame and a rear panel with cutouts for what appear to be two camera sensors, although OnePlus may ultimately only include one sensor given the phone’s positioning in the entry-level segment. The power button and volume rockers will be located on the right side of the device. The frame is expected to be plastic, but finished to resemble metal.
Color Options and Availability
Customers in India will be able to purchase the OnePlus N6 Lite in two colors: Green and Black. The phone will be sold through Amazon India.
Positioning and Timing
OnePlus is reportedly shifting its strategy in India away from flagship devices and towards more affordable options. The N6 Lite is expected to be even more affordable than the OnePlus N6x, which launched on July 31, 2026, for Rs 18,999. While the full specifications and launch date have not yet been announced, teasers suggest a launch before the end of September 2026.
