Following the buzz around the iPhone 18 launch, a diverse selection of films is arriving on streaming services this weekend, starting September 11, 2026. Viewers have a choice of new releases across Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and Zee5.
New Releases This Week
Leading the lineup is Vishwanath & Sons, starring Suriya and Mamitha Baiju, which will be available on Netflix. Directed by Venky Atluri, Anish Devanpally, Naveen Eadara, Anji Chodapaneedi, and Srivatsava Binni, the film centers on Sanjay Viswanath, a disciplined pistol shooter whose life is disrupted by romance and family obligations.
Vishal Krishna both stars in and directs Magudam, a Tollywood hit now streaming on Amazon Prime Video. The film features Vishal Krishna in three distinct roles across different time periods – a corporate employee, a gangster, and an assassin named Linga – and explores themes of love, betrayal, and revenge.
Ghamasaan, starring Pratik Gandhi and Arshad Warsi, is set to stream on Zee5. Directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia, the film, which earned a 7.8/10 rating on IMDb, is a cat-and-mouse game between an honest IPS officer and a notorious dacoit ruling the Bundelkhand region in 2006.
YouTube star Bhuvan Bam takes the lead in The Revolutionaries, a new series premiering on Amazon Prime Video. Directed by Nikhil Advani and Nikkhil Advani, the series, also starring Rohit Saraf and Pratibha Ranta, is set in the 1990s and draws inspiration from the story of an Indian freedom fighter.
Finally, Mollywood star Joju George returns to OTT platforms with Varavu, available on Zee5. Directed by Shaji Kailas, the action thriller follows Polachan, a successful man whose return to his hometown unearths old rivalries and conflicts.
