Meta, the parent company of Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp, has begun offering its new Meta One subscription service in India. The service, designed to consolidate premium features across its platforms, presents a range of plans tailored to individual users, businesses, and content creators.
Plans and Pricing for Indian Users
For individual users, Meta One offers two tiers: Core and Premium. The Core plan is priced at Rs 549 per month, while the Premium plan costs Rs 1,960 per month. These plans bundle benefits from Instagram Plus, WhatsApp Plus, and Facebook Plus, eliminating the need to subscribe to each service separately.
Businesses and content creators have access to a wider selection of plans:
- Essential: Rs 639 per month
- Advanced: Rs 2,099 per month
- Expert: Rs 6,399 per month
- Max: Rs 20,990 per month
Prior to the launch of Meta One, WhatsApp Plus, Instagram Plus, and Facebook Plus were available individually for Rs 79, Rs 99, and Rs 99 per month respectively. Meta states that the bundled Meta One plans offer a more convenient and cost-effective way to access these features.
Features Included with Meta One
Subscribers to Meta One plans gain access to a variety of enhanced features. These include the ability to restyle Instagram Stories, utilize voice effects, and access additional creative tools. Users also receive increased usage limits for generating videos and images using Meta AI across Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp.
The higher-tier business and creator plans provide even more comprehensive support from Meta. This includes access to a Meta Business Agent on WhatsApp, a verified badge within the WhatsApp Business app, and protection against impersonation for verified users. Additional tools available to these subscribers include the ability to schedule stories up to 30 days in advance, add links to organic posts and reels, access detailed audience insights, and export analytics data.
