Samsung is planning a price adjustment for its forthcoming Galaxy S26 5G series in India, with all three models – the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+ and Galaxy S26 Ultra – set to see an increase of around ₹20,000, according to information that has not yet been officially confirmed by Samsung.
Galaxy S26 Lineup and Projected Pricing
The Galaxy S26 series will consist of three devices: the Galaxy S26, the Galaxy S26+, and the flagship Galaxy S26 Ultra. The anticipated price rises reflect increasing costs in manufacturing, particularly for memory and components, a trend that has already led Samsung to increase prices on its A series devices.
Currently, the Galaxy S26 5G is available in two configurations: 12GB of RAM with 256GB of storage for ₹87,999, and 12GB of RAM with 512GB of storage for ₹1,07,999. Following the expected ₹20,000 price hike, these variants will reportedly retail for ₹1,07,999 and ₹1,27,999 respectively.
The Galaxy S26+ launched with 12GB of RAM paired with either 256GB or 512GB of storage, priced at ₹1,19,999 and ₹1,39,999. After the increase, these models are projected to cost ₹1,39,999 and ₹1,59,999.
The Galaxy S26 Ultra 5G offers three storage options: 12GB of RAM with 256GB storage at ₹1,39,999, 12GB of RAM with 512GB storage at ₹1,59,999, and 16GB of RAM with 1TB of storage at ₹1,89,999. These prices are expected to rise to ₹1,59,999, ₹1,79,999, and ₹2,09,999 after the ₹20,000 adjustment.
While a ₹20,000 increase represents a substantial jump, it aligns with recent pricing strategies from other manufacturers, including Apple, and may not come as a surprise to consumers in the flagship smartphone market.
