Xiaomi is expanding its Redmi 17 series presence in India with the upcoming launch of the Redmi 17C 5G. This follows the recent introduction of the Redmi 17 5G, Redmi Note 17 5G, and Redmi Note 17 Pro in the Indian market.

The Redmi 17C 5G is scheduled to launch in India on October 1, 2026, Xiaomi confirmed in a post on X (formerly Twitter). The device initially debuted in Singapore in August 2026, and the Indian variant is expected to maintain the same specifications as the global model.
Design and Display
Xiaomi has teased the phone’s design for the Indian market, showcasing a rectangular, slightly raised camera island with two vertically aligned camera sensors and an LED flash. The display features a 6.9-inch HD+ panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of up to 810nits. A waterdrop notch houses the front-facing camera.
