Reliance Jio, India’s largest telecom operator, is extending a benefit to its Jio Home subscribers: a free Amazon Prime Lite membership. The offer applies to customers using JioFiber and Jio AirFiber services.
Who Qualifies for the Free Subscription?
The free Amazon Prime Lite subscription is available to those on Jio Home’s 3-in-1 plans ranging from 30 Mbps to 100 Mbps. This includes plans bundling TV, OTT services, and Wi-Fi. According to TelecomTalk, this offer is part of Jio’s celebration of its 10th anniversary.
Customers on higher-tier plans – specifically those costing Rs 888, Rs 1199, and those exceeding 150+ Mbps – will continue to receive the existing benefit of a 24-month Amazon Prime Lite subscription.
How to Claim the Offer
Jio began rolling out the offer on September 19, 2026, in a phased manner over the following two weeks. To activate the one-year free subscription, Jio Home customers simply need to open the MyJio app (under their JioHome account) and tap the promotional banner.
Amazon Prime Lite typically costs Rs 799 per year, representing the value of the benefit Jio is providing at no extra cost.
Jio customers who wish to upgrade to a full Amazon Prime Video subscription can do so by contacting Amazon Prime or Jio customer care.
