Vivo is preparing to unveil a range of new devices at its “Vivo Next 2026” event on October 6, 2026, including the V80 5G. Ahead of the launch, leaked information has revealed the expected pricing and a detailed look at the phone’s specifications.
Pricing Details
According to leaks, the Vivo V80 5G will be available in three configurations:
- 8GB RAM / 128GB storage: Rs 62,999
- 8GB RAM / 256GB storage: Rs 69,999
- 8GB RAM / 512GB storage: Rs 71,999
Performance and Display
The Vivo V80 5G is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, a 4nm-based processor. Benchmarks show the chipset achieving a score of 1,329,936 points in AnTuTu 11, with Geekbench 6 reporting 1270 points for single-core and 4106 points for multi-core performance. The phone will feature a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with HDR10+ certification and a peak brightness of 5000 nits.
Camera Capabilities
Vivo is collaborating with ZEISS on significant camera upgrades for the V80 5G. The rear camera setup will include:
- A 50MP Sony LYTIA 700V main sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS)
- A 50MP Sony IMX882 3x telephoto camera
- A ZEISS-powered ultrawide camera
The device will also introduce a new AI Creative app with over 30 AI effects, including features like Live Sticker Collage and Diwali Portrait 2.0.
Battery and Software
The Vivo V80 5G will pack a 7,200mAh battery supporting 90W fast wired charging. It will run OriginOS 7, based on Android 17, and will include AI upgrades and UI improvements. The phone will be available in three colour options: Sunrise Anthem, Horizon Blue, and Stellar Black, featuring a glossy finish and an aluminum chassis.
