Jio’s Rs 51 Plan Adds 4G Data to 5G Access

Reliance Jio, India’s largest telecom operator, is making 5G more accessible with its Rs 51 prepaid plan. While the plan has been available for some time, it has recently been updated to include an additional benefit for users.

5G Access for a Low Cost

The Rs 51 plan provides prepaid Jio subscribers with unlimited 5G data, but now also includes 3GB of 4G data, a new addition to the offering. According to TelecomTalk, this makes it an attractive option for those wanting to experience Jio’s 5G network without committing to a higher-tier plan.

How the Plan Works

The Rs 51 plan is designed as a “true unlimited upgrade” for existing Jio customers. It’s intended for users on plans that don’t already include 5G access as a standard benefit. To use the plan, subscribers must have a base plan providing at least 1.5GB of data per day with a validity of at least one month.

Eligibility Requirements

Jio emphasizes that users must have a 5G-compatible device and be located within Jio’s 5G coverage area to utilize the 5G service. The MyJio app can be used to verify both 5G coverage and device eligibility for Jio’s 5G SA (standalone architecture) network.

Reliance Jio currently boasts the widest 5G coverage in India and offers truly unlimited data to its users, making it a leading choice for those seeking 5G connectivity, according to TelecomTalk.
